General Information On Our Policies

Spa Reservations

Appointments may be made by phoning 570-323-8777 or 570-322-3954. 

Spa services are subject to availability. Credit card number, pre-payment, or relinquishing gift certificate is required to guarantee appointments. Specific technicians may be requested when scheduling appointments.

If you need assistance, our Spa consultants will help you in selecting imaginative gifts to refine body, mind and spirit.

Gift Cards

Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash. Gift Cards have a 60-month (5 yrs) expiration date from date of purchase. Gift Cards can be re-charged. The purchase of a Gift Card does not guarantee appointments and all appointments are subject to availability. We urge all card bearers to schedule their appointments as soon as possible upon receipt.  All gift cards must be presented at time of redemption. 

Appointment Information

A major credit card or gift card on file will be necessary to reserve time for ALL appointments.

Party Contract ( 3 or More )

For parties of 3 or more receiving any treatments or services, an automatic 20% gratuity will be added to totals for each person in the party. Less than 72 Hour cancellation notice results in being charged in full. After hours voice mail available at 570-323-8777.

Arrival

We ask that you please arrive at least fifteen minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows time for you to be checked in and complete any necessary paperwork.

Phones / Pagers

Merle Norman Cosmetics & Day Spa (Personal Appearance Inc.) is committed to providing an oasis of relaxation and pampering for each of our clients. For this reason we ask you to limit cellular telephones or pagers within the building.

Cancellations

On Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, we reserve the right to charge 50% of full service charge. Cancellations made on the day of your scheduled appointment that we are unable to re-book; we reserve the right to charge up to the full amount of all services booked. We attempt to fill all open appointments.

• No-shows will be charged 100% of the full service booked. (No Exceptions)

• Multiple service appointments require 2 working days notice of cancellation.

• Wedding Party appointments require 7 working days notice of cancellation.

If you book appointments for more than one person, you will be responsible for the charges for all appointments you booked should the group fail to show and to cancel with 24 hours notice.

Payment

Merle Norman Cosmetics & Day Spa (Personal Appearance Inc.) accepts all major credit cards, (all cards will have a 3% surcharge added), pre-printed personal checks, and US currency.
