Pat & Cal
Founders | Owners | Educators | Visionaries
Pat is the founder and owner of Merle Norman Cosmetics & Day Spa, overseeing daily operations while continuing to share her expertise through manicures, pedicures, skincare, and makeup artistry. With professional training from Jessica®, LaFrance® Skin Care, Repêchage®, and Merle Norman Cosmetics®, Pat has always believed in ongoing education and passing knowledge on to her team.
Her work as a makeup artist includes seven years with Disney Worldwide Services, providing makeup for ESPN Sports, along with work for television commercials and catalog photo shoots.
Cal served as the business manager for Merle Norman Cosmetics & Day Spa and M2 Color Studio, handling financial operations and web design. His behind-the-scenes dedication helped shape the foundation of the business for decades.
Cal (1941–2022) passed away on September 3, 2022. His influence and support remain an important part of our story.
Mindy Price
Vice President | Co-Owner | Color Artist | Nail Artist | Esthetician | Makeup Artist
Mindy is the Co-Owner of Merle Norman Cosmetics & Day Spa and M2 Color Studio, overseeing day-to-day operations, financial management, and marketing. With more than 35 years at the spa, she brings a depth of experience that spans hair, nails, skincare, waxing, and makeup.
Her specialties include Jessica®-style manicures, whirlpool pedicures, and full-body waxing, including Brazilian waxing. Mindy has also received advanced skincare training from Merle Norman Cosmetics® and Repechage®, and makeup training in Los Angeles through Merle Norman Cosmetics®.
A true “jack of all trades,” Mindy also provides hair color and cuts, bringing a well-rounded approach to every client she serves.
Brooke Beattie
Designer | Nail Care | Waxing | Massage Therapist
With 19 years in the beauty industry, Brooke began her journey through the Vo-Tech cosmetology program while attending South Williamsport Junior/Senior High School. After graduating, she completed her cosmetology training at Empire Beauty School and earned her massage therapy license from the Center for Massage and Natural Health.
Brooke specializes in manicures, pedicures, waxing, hair services, and massage, offering a thoughtful, well-rounded experience for clients looking to relax and recharge.
Maranda Baker
Designer | Up-Dos | Nail Care | Waxing
Maranda brings 26 years of experience as a hair designer and has previously worked with Merle Norman Cosmetics & Day Spa. She is especially known for her wedding up-dos and special-occasion styling.
Her expertise includes color correction, foiling, highlights, lowlights, razor cutting, curly hair cutting, waxing, and Jessica®-style manicures and whirlpool pedicures.

Beth Miller
Cosmetologist | Manicures | Pedicures
Beth has loved doing hair from a young age and has found joy in helping people feel confident and beautiful for more than 24 years. Originally from Ohio, she completed cosmetology school at Fairfield Career Center before relocating to the Williamsport area, where she has lived for the past 18 years.
She previously worked at Outlooks for Hair and Creations Styling Salon and is excited to continue her career at Merle Norman Day Spa & M2 Color Studio.

Jordan Kulp
Color Specialist | Cutting | Styling
Jordan specializes in all forms of hair color, including foiling, balayage, hand painting, and low-lighting, with a particular talent for blonde hair transformations. With more than 20 years behind the chair, Jordan also offers men’s cuts and polished blowouts.
Jordan is known for creating a relaxing, pampering experience for every client and encourages booking ahead to secure an appointment.
Gail Nuss
Cosmetologist | Pedicures | Facials
With more than 40 years of experience, Gail is known for delivering some of the best pedicures in town and truly exceptional facials. She currently accepts new clients for facials and pedicures only, while maintaining a loyal hair clientele she has worked with for many years.
